Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG Original order Remake: How to Get It?

Alright, let’s talk about this project I did, remaking the Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. They call it “Original order,” fancy, right?

So, I started by looking at the real deal. I went to the official Saint Laurent website and some online stores. Just wanted to see what the fuss was about with this bag.

Then, I needed to find the right materials. I found some pretty good leather, they call it “BOX SAINT LAURENT,” not sure what that means, but it felt nice. The original bag uses some canvas too, so I got my hands on some of that as well.

Now, here’s where it got a bit tricky. I had to figure out how to put this thing together. I studied a lot of pictures and tried to understand how the original was made. There’s this serial number thing too, the real ones have it engraved, not printed. And it’s supposed to be in one row, not two. And some have 12 digits, and others have 3 letters and 10 digits, all separated by dots. I made sure to get that detail right, although it took some time.

  • Looked at the original bag online
  • Found good leather and canvas
  • Figured out the assembly
  • Paid attention to the serial number

After a lot of trial and error, I finally made it. It looks just like the real one, smooth and strong. It was a lot of work, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

YSL bags are supposed to be good quality, and I think I managed to capture that in my remake. They’re known for lasting a long time and keeping their style, and I believe my remake does that too. I used good materials and put a lot of effort into making each part just right, the same way the real ones are made. Plus, they say these bags are a good investment. So, I hope people see the value in what I made, the way they see it in the original bags.

Was it easy?

No way. Took a lot of time and effort. But it was worth it. I learned a ton about bag making and these luxury brands.

So yeah, that’s my story about remaking the YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. Hope you found it interesting.

I hope that anyone who gets their hands on my remake will appreciate the work that went into it. It’s not just about copying a design, but also about understanding the quality and craftsmanship that goes into these high-end products. I tried my best to do just that, and I think the final product reflects that effort.
