High Imitation Rolex No-Date Black Submariner: Is It Worth the Price

So, I finally decided to get a new watch. I’ve always been into Rolex, especially the Submariner. But, man, those things are expensive! So I thought, why not look for a good fake one? I mean, who’s gonna know, right?

Finding the Right One

I started looking around, checking out some local dealers. There’s this one guy in my town, he’s kind of known for having good stuff, not the official stuff, you know? So I went to his shop. He had a bunch of watches, but I was only interested in the Submariner No Date. He showed me a few, and one of them, a 124060 (that’s the 2020 model), really caught my eye.

Checking the Details

First thing I did was check the weight. I remember reading somewhere that real Submariners are about 1.57 inches across. This one felt about right. It wasn’t too light, had some good weight to it.

  • Size: It looked like a 40mm, which is just what I wanted.
  • Numbers: I also looked for the model and serial numbers. The real ones have them engraved, and this one did too. They were kind of hard to see, but they were there.

Making the Purchase

After looking it over, I decided to go for it. The price was way better than a real Rolex, obviously. And honestly, it looked pretty darn good. We did the deal right there in the shop. Paid in cash, got the watch, and walked out. No paperwork, no fuss. Just how I like it.

Living with It

I’ve been wearing the watch for a little while now, and I’m pretty happy with it. It keeps time well, looks good on my wrist, and I’ve even gotten a few compliments. No one’s suspected a thing. It’s been a good experience, and I think I made the right choice. I mean, why pay tons of money for the real deal when you can get something that looks and feels almost the same for way less? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

So, that’s my story. Just wanted to share my experience buying a fake Rolex. It’s not for everyone, but it worked out for me. Might be worth considering if you’re into watches but don’t want to break the bank.
