RemakePRADA Small Galleria Special Edition Bag: Why You Should Buy from the Official Flagship Store?

Okay, so, I saw this bag online, the Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition Bag. It looked really cool, and I thought, “Why not try making it myself?” That’s how it all started. I’m not a pro at this, just doing it for fun, you know?

Getting Started

First things first, I needed to gather all my materials. I went online, did some digging, and found a place that sells these leather pieces, the Saffiano ones, just like the bag. Got those ordered. Then, I had to think about the tools. I already had some basic stuff for crafting, like needles, thread, and a cutting mat. But I was missing a few things, so I made a quick list and hit up a local craft store.

The Process

Once everything arrived, I laid out all the leather pieces. I didn’t have a pattern, so I used the pictures of the bag from the official store as a guide. I started cutting the leather, following the shapes I saw in the photos. It wasn’t perfect, but I tried to get it as close as possible.

After cutting, I started stitching. This was the tough part. I’m not used to sewing such thick material, so my fingers were pretty sore. But, I kept at it, taking breaks when I needed to. I used a saddle stitch, which I learned from some video online, because it looked strong and kinda fancy.

Putting It Together

The bag has these cool metal details, so I bought some similar ones from a hardware shop. Attaching them was tricky. I had to punch holes in the leather and then carefully secure the metal pieces. It took some trial and error, but I managed to get them on without messing up too much.

Finishing Touches

After all the pieces were stitched together and the hardware was on, I looked at the bag. It was starting to look like something! I added a lining, which I sewed by hand because my machine is not strong enough for thick layers. That was a whole other challenge, but I got it done.

Finally, I added the straps. I made them adjustable because, why not? It seemed practical. I used some buckles I found online. Attaching the straps was one of the last steps, and honestly, I was pretty proud of myself at this point.

The Result

So, there it is, my homemade version of the Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition Bag. It’s not exactly like the original, and it’s definitely got some imperfections. But I made it with my own hands, and that’s pretty cool, right? It was a fun project, and I learned a lot along the way. Maybe I’ll try making another bag sometime, or maybe I’ll just take a break from crafting for a while. My fingers could use a rest!

  • I found all material that I need.
  • I cut the leather and started to stiching them.
  • I added metal parts and other details.
  • I sewed the lining and added straps.
  • Finally,I finished my own bag.

That’s all about my DIY project. Hope you guys enjoy it.
